One important piece of information you need to know is the Unit Statistical Data (Unit Stat) which is the audited exposure, premium, and loss information for a Workers Comp policy. This information is submitted by your insurance company. Unit Stat is used in deterring rate changes at the classification code level, the calculation of the Experience Modification Factors (assigned by the WCIRB), and actuarial analysis.
